Simplicity of Life

While driving home from the office today I saw some young entrepreneurs on the side of the road. The simplicity of life captured my attention and I just had to stop. After passing over the money, I enjoyed my cup of lemonade and a cookie. How a simple thing like a lemonade stand can make time stop for a moment just to enjoy!

Lemonaide Stand

This is not the exact stand I saw, but a good representation of the simplicity of life.

Nice, it's the little and simple things in life that make a difference in our days.  Oh, that a dime would be enough to buy a glass of lemonaide and a cookie....bet you paid a dollar!

The simple things in life need to be enjoyed, especially in our fast paced high stress daily routines.

I always preach to others to enjoy the little things and simple things, yet I forget myself. They are everywhere around us, but seem too rare because we are too busy to notice them.

Mary -  amazingly enough it was under a dollar for my lemonade and cookie (75 cents)

Michael - that's why I stopped tonight. If I'm too busy to buy a cup of lemonade from some kids, then life has control of me rather than me being in control of life. So glad I took the time to stop. Those girls were so excited to have a customer.
